The year of 2024 would be a big year for the young 20 year old. To start his 2024 campaign, Thomas raced for Jeff McClure Racing for the opening race at Daytona for the ARCA Menards Series where he would claim a 2nd place finish in his debut in the series. He would then run 3 more races and came close to victory one other time at Mid-Ohio. As Thomas continued to impress, he then got the call to race a select amount of races in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for the second half of the year. 

Thomas would end the 2024 Trans Am 2 season as Young Guns Champion and 3rd overall in the championship for Nitro Motorsports winning the penultimate round at Virginia International Raceway.

To start the most important year of his young career, Thomas was signed by Cope Family Racing for a part-time deal in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for the 2025 season, along with another year in the Trans Am Series for Nitro Motorsports. With the goal of winning the Trans Am championship, Thomas and Nitro Motorsports have won the first two opening rounds of the calendar in Sebring and Road Atlanta, giving Toyota their first ever Pole Position and Win in the the history of Trans Am 2. Thomas also secured his first ARCA Series win at Lime Rock. It’s been a strong start for the young star.
