Annunziata will pull double duty next weekend, competing in Friday’s ARCA Menards Series race with Nitro Motorsports before making his latest NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series start on Saturday behind the wheel of the No. 1 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro for TRICON Garage.

For a driver whose racing roots were built on road courses, there may be no venue on the schedule that better showcases his strengths.

Last season, Annunziata captured his first career ARCA Menards Series victory at Lime Rock Park after an unforgettable drive through the field.

Despite early adversity, the New Jersey native fought back to earn one of the most memorable wins of the season, cementing himself as one of stock car racing’s premier young road racers.

Now he returns as the defending race winner.

Throughout his young career, Annunziata has consistently proven himself whenever the schedule turns left and right.

Before climbing the NASCAR ladder, he earned national recognition in sports cars and Trans Am competition, developing the racecraft that has quickly translated to stock cars.

Next weekend, the final road course race of the season provides another chance to demonstrate that versatility.

Friday, Annunziata returns to the No. 70 Nitro Motorsports Toyota, hoping to defend his Lime Rock victory and continue building momentum in the ARCA Menards Series championship battle.

Twenty-four hours later, he’ll shift his focus to one of NASCAR’s most competitive garages.

Driving for TRICON Garage, one of the premier organizations in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series, Annunziata will benefit from valuable additional track time while competing against many of NASCAR’s brightest young stars.

Annunziata led ARCA Menards Series practice at Chicagoland (Ill.) Speedway Friday afternoon ahead of the 100-lap Ashley Furniture 150. Qualifying was canceled due to inclement weather, putting him on pole for the series’ return to the Joliet, Ill., track in nearly a decade.
